About_us

Greetings, I am the owner of Scrapbook Island. My husband, Dan, and I have two wonderful children, Ashley, who graduated from Plymouth State in 2007, and Brandon, a 2010 graduate of Arizona State. We also have two of the most adorable kitties in the world. Emmy (who is 9 years old) and Eddy (who is 6 years old) continuously entertain us with their antics. They have won permanent places in all of our hearts.

We moved to New Hampshire in 2002, the fifth state in our 25 years of marriage.

I have been a scrapbook enthusiast most of my life. Before the scrapbook trend even started I was using cookie cutters to cut shapes out of construction paper. I made "This is Your Life" scrapbooks in magnetic photo albums. Well, I've learned a lot since then and corrected my many mistakes.

I've worked in several scrapbook stores and taught a variety of classes. Scrapbooking is my passion and I love everything about it. Most of all I enjoy helping others become excited about their own projects.

I'd like to introduce you to my employees and teachers. By reading below, I hope you get to know them just a little better. Please stop by the store to say "Hello" so that we can get to know you!

Being the daughter of such an avid photo keeper, I was destined to become a scrapbooker. When I was 15 I started my first job at our brand-new local scrapbook store. Ever since that time my hobbies have included scrapbooking, scrapbooking, and more scrapbooking. I love playing with all the new products and designing pages that incorporate a blend of textures and color. I also love to design cards using rubber stamps, inks, and water-colors. I delight in helping others find their creative niche.

What I am most passionate about is scrapbooking (what else?!) and helping others become excited about scrapbooking as a hobby.

My favorite photos are a grouping hanging in my familyroom of Ashley & Brandon when they were 5 & 3 years old respectively.

Our store is completely renovated and restocked to provide anything and everything today's avid scrapbooker could possibly need. We pride ourselves in serving our customers with the best of our knowledge and care.

Scrapbook Island was decorated in accordance with our name. Once you set foot in our store you are surrounded with the warmth of the tropics. We have freshly painted walls and a new bright presentation with all of our supplies in thematic categories. For example - all wedding paper, stickers, and embellishments are in an area together. You won't have to go all over the store looking in different places for each item.

Working on your scrapbook in our new state-of-the-art crop room is the dream of every scrapbooker young and the not so young, beginner or advanced. You have to experience the comfort and convenience for yourself! Take a class with us or crop anytime during the day when we do not have a class. We invite you to come to one of our crops where you will experience our own luau themed nights!

We now offer album imprinting services at our store. Come in to see samples of font styles and sizes. We are excited to be able to add this service for our customers. Provided by Julie's Imprinting.
